How electric iris damper works in air conditioning system

MOTORIZED IRIS DAMPER

• Retracts fully for duct cleaning

• Finger tip control with adjustable set-points

• Interlocking galvanized steel plate construction

• Automatic measurement and control of airflow

• Input signal：0-10 VDC, 2-10 VOC or 4-20 mA,,0-20mA signal

• Capacities: 15 cfm to 4,000 cfm , 4,000cfm to 20,000cfm

 

DESCRIPTION

The  motorized iris damper assembly provides all the benefits of the standard IRIS damper, plus adds an electronic actuator to allow for remote control of the damper. The electric iris damper is available in all series , and permits the damper to be controlled by a building control system, or operate as a standalone unit through the use of switches.

CONTROL FEATURES

• Input : 0-10 VDC, 2-10 VDC or 4-20mA ,0- 20mA 

• Adjustable min/max ports for airflow settings

• 2 position or modulating control

• Can be fully open damper for duct cleaning

• Airflow taps for measuring airflow with either manual gauge or differential pressure transducer

• Multiple actuators may be controlled by DCS systems

• Supply Voltage :24 VAC/DC,220VAC

• Rated Power :  4.5 VA, ,15VA

• Inputs : 0(2)- 10VDC , 0（4）-20mA
